Sunday School

Adamsville Baptist Church offers an opportunity for all ages-nursery through adults-to learn God's Word each Sunday morning. Sunday School classes are provided weekly that are a place to study the Bible, to be part of a community, and to reach out to others outside the church family as a small group of believers. Most classes plan monthly outside fellowship times as well as times of service. Anyone may join one of our Sunday School classes and belong to the community instantly.

Keenagers

Especially appealing to senior adults, "Keenagers" gather monthly for regular outings and special events focused on spiritual enrichment, fellowship, food, and fun.

Ambassadors

Our Men's ministry has monthly meetings, opportunities to serve the widows in the church family, the elderly and disabled in the community. They also assist the Property Committee with the buildings and grounds, and plans retreats and special events. The Ambassadors also have an organized mentoring and discipleship ministry that each Adamsville man may take part in on a weekly basis.

Faithful

Our Women's Ministry enjoys discipleship classes and regular events to meet edificational and fellowship needs of our ladies as well as providing missions opportunities to serve others. The purpose of the Faithful Women is: "To draw women into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and Bible study, and through recognizing and using our gifts in service to all around us."

DivorceCare

On Tuesday nights beginning September 21, 2010 at 6:30 pm Doug Hull will be facilitating a group for adults that are separated or divorced from the Goldsboro area. The DVD and discussions will be lead from a Christian perspective which encourages reconciliation and restoration whenever possible. Child care is provided during the 13 weeks this support group meets and tackles the difficult issues related to separation and divorce. The fee for the class is $12.00, but scholarships are available.
