Music Ministry

Music, both vocal and instrumental, can be a powerful expression of Worship. Worship means to give honor or to ascribe worth and value to something. Everyone understands worship on some level, whether they call it that or not. God is pleased when we worship Him. We have the responsibility in the Music Ministry to equip people with the skills and teaching needed to experience worship in their lives, and also to lead the congregation in musical worship.

Adult Choir

Anyone interested in the Adult Choir who are not currently a part of the program are invited to attend a rehearsal to find out more about possible opportunities. You do not have to be an accomplished soloist or be able to read music to join the choir. In addition, you must be a member of Adamsville Baptist Church or in the process of becoming a member. There is no audition required for membership in the Choir and loving child care is provided during rehearsal times.The Adult Choir is a large group with a warm, accepting, family atmosphere where you can experience inspirational worship as well as encouragement and prayer support. The Adult Choir rehearses Sunday afternoons at 4:30pm.

Praise Band

If you play a band instrument, there is probably a place for you at Adamsville. To be a member of the band one must possess a basic level of proficiency and possess a Godly attitude toward ministry. A basic level of proficiency refers to playing experience or current participation in instrumental instruction and being able to play in tune. The Praise Band rehearses on Sunday mornings at 8:00am as well as pre-scheduled dates in order to learn new songs.

Our Music Ministry is an exciting place to learn, lead, and experience worship through music. We have a wide variety of service opportunities for vocalists, as well as instrumentalists. We are a teaching ministry, so anyone with a desire to be involved will be utilized in service to Christ. Contact Pastor Doug for more information about how you can become involved musically.
