March-April – This year our focus will be on the Pinewood subdivision in Goldsboro. On March 17 and 24 we will be prayer walking in Pinewood. On March 31 and April 7 we will be distributing Easter invitation packets to the neighborhood. The packets include a gospel tract, a New Testament, and an invitation to our Easter Service. Please plan now to reserve some time on these days to join your church family in sowing the gospel seed in our area again this year as we participate in God’s Plan for Sharing (GPS).

Immediate – If you missed the last Sunday School training when we went through the first half of “Sunday School Done Right” by Allen Taylor, please see Pastor Ted to borrow the CD’s and get your workbook. You can listen to sessions 1-3 on your CD player and fill in the blanks of your workbook. Then you can return the CD’s (within 2 weeks) so that another teacher can also benefit from this training.

Immediate – We need additional nursery workers for every service and meeting time. If you are willing to help, please call Wendy Spears through the church office. Please prayerfully consider serving in this area.

November – June – The youth are collecting receipts from Pizza Inn as part of a fundraiser for the Youth Ministry. Please bring your receipts from Pizza Inn and place them in the pizza box on the table near the office bulletin board. The youth will receive a percentage of your total receipt.

February 19th – Financial Peace University class that was scheduled to start today will be canceled due to not enough people signing up. Also if anyone is interested in the taking this class in the future, please contact Andy Wingate through the church office.

February 23rd – This month the Keenagers will travel to Bailey to eat at Bailey’s Restaurant. Cost of the meal is $6.99 plus tax and cost of drink. We will be leaving promptly at 4:15pm.

February 26th – The Zambia Mission Team will be having a Spaghetti Luncheon on Sunday immediately following morning worship service. If you would like to attend, please sign up by Wednesday, February 22 on the bulletin board outside the church office or at online. All proceeds will go towards Zambia Mission Trip.

February 26th – We will be having fellowship time in the Sears Fellowship Hall after the Business Meeting. Please bring finger foods to share with the Bride of Christ at Adamsville. We will provide the drinks. Please attempt to sit at a table with someone you don’t know or someone you have not recently talked with. This is an opportunity to relax, share, and get to know one another in God’s family on a deeper level.

March 10th – Pig Pickin’ Fundraiser on Saturday from 5-8 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Tickets are $7.00 each which includes, barbecue, slaw, potato salad, dessert and a drink. You can dine in or carry out. Money raised will go toward the Zambia Mission Trip. Tickets are available from any Zambia mission team member.

March 23rd-24th – Adamsville will be hosting a Single Parent Retreat for Air Force personnel. One of the Seymour Johnson AFB chaplains will be the key speaker. However, the event will also be open to civilian Wayne county residents. We are planning to provide a supper for the parents and children on Friday, March 23. If you are willing to bring a covered dish for this event, please see Pastor Ted. This will be an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with a group of people, including many who do not have a close relationship with Jesus. We will also be teaching the children during the retreat using the Big Wave Discovery material our children went through this past summer. If you are willing to help with child care so that this can be a successful outreach to our community, please see Tracy Barber.

March 25th – Sunday we will have a Discover ABC class following morning worship. Please sign up at here by March 18th. This class is the first step in becoming a member or learning about how Adamsville functions as a local church. Lunch and child care are provided for those who request it on the sign up form.

March 31st – Yard Sale Fundraiser will be on Saturday. Anyone Interested in donating items to be sold please see Keith. Money raised will go toward the Zambia Mission Trip.

April 1st – The Russell & Joeann Ault Scholarship is for $500 and is available for church members of Neuse Baptist Association. Scholarships are awarded each year through Neuse Baptist Association. Completed application forms are due by April 1st. Forms are available at the church office. The Scholarship Committee meets soon after April 1 to determine recipients.
