Summer Discipleship Classes

• May – Aug – The Adamsville Summer Discipleship classes begin May 30th and run through out the summer. The classes that are offered this summer are:
  • Women’s Class - “The Mission of Motherhood” taught by Mrs. Anita Poland {Pre-Order your book here}
  • Co-Ed Class – “How People Change” taught by Pastor Doug {Pre-Order your book here}
  • Prayer Meeting/Bible Study (Romans 10-16) – taught by Pastor Ted {Pre-Order supplemental book here} Not Required
  • Men’s Class - “Point Man” taught by TBA {Pre-Order your book here}

Giving to ABC

• You can now give tithes and other payments/donations to Adamsville easier than ever before! Give online now through E-giving. You can create an account and schedule giving or just give a one time payment.

Study from Revelation

• May – Aug – If you are interested in a co-­‐ed Thursday study (11:00−11:30am) on the book of Revelation using “Behold, Jesus Is Coming!” by Kay & David Arthur ($9.00, New Inductive Study), please contact Pastor Ted through the church office.

Celebrate Recovery

• May – Aug – Corey Linton is leading the Celebrate Recovery program on Wednesday nights at 6:30 in room EN-­‐203. It is designed to help those struggling with hurts, hang-­‐ups, and habits, Celebrate Recovery demonstrates the loving power of Jesus Christ through the recovery process.

Migrant Workers

• April – May – We will be collecting health kits for migrant workers for NBA now through May 24th. See details on church office bulletin board.

Single Parenting

• April – June – We will be offering a Single & Parenting class on Monday nights at 6:30pm for 13 weeks. The cost is $15.00 for the workbook. If you know anyone who can benefit, have them contact Pastor Ted Manby through the church office.

Pizza Receipts Fundraiser

• November – June – The youth are collecting receipts from Pizza Inn as part of a fundraiser for the Youth Ministry. Please bring your receipts from Pizza Inn and place them in the pizza box on the table near the office bulletin board. The youth will receive a percentage of your total receipt.

NABS Spring Meeting

• May 17th – The semi-­‐annual covered dish meeting is at Immanuel Baptist Church, 712 Airport Road, Kinston on Thursday. We will leave at 11:00am. If you would like to attend, please sign up on Keenagers bulletin board.

Vacation Bible School Training

• May 18th – 19th – Training will be held for all volunteers on Friday from 5:00-8:00pm (please bring a side dish or dessert for dinner), and Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm (lunch provided). Any questions, contact Olivia Wiggins through the church office.

Graduation Sunday

• May 20th – If you have a student that is graduating from high school or college, please submit the following information to Pastor Keith by Sunday, May 6th: Full names, name of school, degree earned, special honors, activities, future plans, and 7-10 pictures of the student through the years.

Centri-Kid or World Changers Meeting

• May 23th – Mandatory camp meeting Wednesday at 6:30pm to have forms notarized and remaining balances due. Parent/legal guardian will need to be present if student is under 18.

Treasure Seekers

• May 23th – Treasure Seekers is the Wednesday night children’s ministry for grades K−4 that will take place over the summer. Every Wednesday, from 6:30−8:00, the sessions will include a Bible lesson, craft, music, and games.

Keenager Meeting

• May 24th – Instead of a covered dish meal the Keenager meeting will be held at Western Sizzlin on Thursday at 4:30pm. It will be a dutch treat!

Youth Summer Kickoff Party

• May 27th – Summer Kickoff party for youth and parents is on Sunday after teh evening worship. Bring a snack and drink to share!

Discover ABC

• May 27th – If you are new to a church family, you probably have many questions about what the church believes, how it functions, its ministries, how it invests its funds, and how it relates to other churches in the area. This class is an opportunity to find the answers to your questions. Our next class begins Sunday at 12pm. sign up here or contact Pastor Ted Manby for more details.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

• June 1st – The Fellowship for Christian Athletes meeting will be held in the youth building at 7:00pm.

Vacation Bible School

• June 10th – 14th – SonRise National Park will be held June 10-14. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up on the bulletin board outside the preschool – just look for the campfire! Contact Olivia Wiggins through the church office for questions or register your child here.
