A brief biographical summary is presented here for each staff member of the Adamsville Baptist Church. We love these godly people and we are thankful for their service in God's work.
Senior Pastor
Todd Wiggins came to Adamsville as Pastor in July 2007. Todd grew up in Forsyth, GA and attended First Baptist Barnesville, where he received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. His undergraduate degree is in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mercer University in Macon, GA. After college, Todd served on staff at Wesleyan Drive Baptist Church and Vineville North Baptist Church, both in Macon. Todd received his Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest in May 2006. In the fall of 2006, he began traveling and preaching for pulpit supply and revivals, when God led him to Adamsville. God also led him back to South Georgia to marry Olivia (Lane) on June 7, 2008. Olivia and June (their yellow Labrador) keep the home fires burning and the back yard full of holes. Olivia is currently "with child" and Todd and her are expecting a baby boy sometime around Dec 17, 2010.
Todd loves to camp, hunt, fish, golf, ski, and travel, anything to get him outdoors into the beautiful creation of our great God. His ministry purpose is to serve the local church by working within the body to equip, teach, and disciple the church to function as a New Testament church. Todd believes this is accomplished through the systematic exposition of the Bible. His life verse is 1 John 2:6, "The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked." Todd's paraphrase is, "Because you claim Christ, walk as He walked."

Youth Pastor
Keith grew up in the "hill country" of Morganton, NC. He placed faith in Christ as Lord and Savior while a pre-teen. However, it was not until he was twenty-two that his life consistently displayed the fruit of a genuine servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. At twenty-four he sensed God’s call to the gospel ministry, and thus became a student at Southeastern College of Wake Forest two years later. He graduated in May 2005 with a BA in Biblical Studies with a minor in Church Music. He then entered Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Worship Leadership in May 2008. Also, in January 2006 he became the Minister of Music and Youth at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church in Morganton, NC where he had already served in many roles as a volunteer worker. He served this church until August 2008. On August 9, 2008 Keith and Amanda (Mays) were married and after their honeymoon he joined the staff of Adamsville in August of 2008. Besides Keith's many duties ministering to the students and their families at Adamsville, he also regularly plays a vital role in the music ministry at Adamsville. Keith has a deep commitment to discipling young people in the Lord and is very supportive of Foreign Missions and local evangelism.
Worship Pastor
Doug came to know the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of eighteen during a revival service held at a close friend's church in Winston-Salem. The message's focus was on Hell as the place of residence for all those who are separated from God because of their love of and their surrender to sin. Realizing his plight of heading to Hell for his many sins against God, he accepted the free gift of Christ's death and resurrection for his sins by faith. Since trusting in the Lord Doug has had a strong desire to grow as a Christian. After several years at other colleges, he enrolled at Piedmont Baptist College to learn God's truth at a deeper level. He graduated in May of 2004 with a BA in Bible, Music, and Counseling. He is currently taking classes part-time pursuing a Master of Arts in Church Music at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. In 2000 Doug met Angelia, who also was a student at Piedmont, and they were married in 2002. She earned a BA in Elementary Education at Piedmont in 2006. Then they were blessed with the birth of their first son, Douglas. Angelia is "with child" again and is expecting a new bundle of joy in April, 2011. Doug has been serving in the music area on church staffs since 2003 and came on staff at Adamsville in August of 2009.
