The word "Adamsville" is found in our name because the buildings are located in the Adamsville community of Goldsboro, NC. [ Map ]
• What is the Adamsville Baptist Church purpose statement?
The people of Adamsville Baptist Church purpose to celebrate the Savior, to serve all people, and to complete the task set before us as defined in the Great Commission.
• How may I become a member of the Adamsville Baptist Church?
• By Believer’s Baptism. Believer’s Baptism is a symbol of a person’s faith in Jesus Christ. We become Christians by admitting that we are sinners, asking God for forgiveness of our sins, and inviting Jesus to come into our lives as Lord and Savior. After inviting Jesus into our lives, our first act of obedience is following Jesus’ example by being baptized. Baptism makes us eligible for membership at Adamsville.
• By Transfer of Church Letter from a church of like belief.
• By Statement of Faith from those who have professed Christ as Savior and have received believer’s baptism.
