Youth Group

Recognizing that today’s students exist and function in a world of relativity (meaning there are no absolute truths), the purpose of the Adamsville Baptist Church youth ministry is to instruct students in the WAY they should go (Prov. 22:6).  We believe and teach that absolute truth does exist in this world and that it is found solely in the saving and growing knowledge of Jesus Christ.  Striving to be this Christ centered group of believers we seek to fulfill this mission through the following ways:

• Sunday Morning:  We offer age-graded Sunday School classes on Sunday mornings at 9:15AM that offer a time of bible study and life application.  Our corporate worship service follows the Sunday school hour and begins at 10:30AM in the sanctuary.
• Sunday Evening:  On Sunday evenings the youth meet in the Sanctuary at 6:30PM to sing the congregational songs and then move to the youth building for an in-depth bible study.  Following the bible study, students break up into groups by gender for a time of prayer and accountability.
• Wednesday:  Our Wednesday evening services begin with a snack and fellowship time from 6:30-7PM.  Students can play ping-pong, pool, basketball, and air hockey, or just sit around and chat.  Following the fellowship time student’s move into a time of exciting praise and worship music and an in-depth Bible study from 7-8PM.
• Additional:  Throughout the year we offer various mission’s opportunities, fellowships and retreats with the sole purpose of spreading His glorious Gospel and strengthening our student’s relationships with Christ.
